Cross-Cultural Communication in the Workplace
The Customized Workplace English (CWE) Program is dedicated not only to responding to our community’s ESL needs but also to educating companies and organizations on how to understand and work most effectively within the multicultural dynamics of the modern American workplace.

Research shows that the diversity training most companies offer does not adequately prepare managers to work with people from other countries. This is due to the focus of most diversity trainings- the appreciation of individual uniqueness. But today, the greater challenge at your workplace may be cultural difference.

By using an intensive training program, the CWE program actively develops skills that executives, managers, supervisors, human resources personnel, and members of cross-functional teams need to successfully manage a culturally diverse workforce.

TESTIMONIALS
See below what employers and trainees are saying about the program:

"[The Better Communication training] has helped me realize it's my responsibility to learn about other peoples' cultures. I have to be more aware."

“[As a result of the portion of the training on language, culture, or personality] I've learned I have to stop and think twice. I need to take time to probe and ask question.”

“Now I know how important it is to recognize when I'm using phrasal verbs and when it's necessary to speak in formal language. ”

“This training should be shown to all management as well as to those who interact with patients. It has been beneficial and extremely interesting.”

"I can also use what I learned in this training outside of work to communicate with non-native English speakers."
